Reports suggest that on the night of July 26, Taskin allegedly lured a man named Sifatur Rahman Saurav to the Mirpur-1 area over a phone call and physically assaulted him. Following the incident, the victim, Saurav, filed a General Diary (GD) at the Mirpur Model Police Station. Police have yet to make an official statement regarding the matter.Attempts to reach Taskin Ahmed for comment were unsuccessful. His phone was found switched off, and he did not respond to WhatsApp calls either. Efforts to contact his father, Abdur Rashid, also went unanswered.
